What a joy that you stopped by here today! I’m pastor Alan Diaz, and I’m honored to serve as District Pastor of our Shenango Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church in West Middlesex, PA as well as of our Meridian Road Seventh-day Adventist Church located in Butler, PA.
I grew up a Christian child but it was not until I was 16 years old that I decided to consciously give my life to Jesus. As a matter of fact, I thought of leaving the church in those years. Leaving the church meaning to stop coming to church services and events as well as quitting reading my Bible. Back then I was pretty confused about my purpose in life, my identity as of “who I am?”, “what am I made for?”, and also questioned a lot “what is the truth?”. On top of that, I found multiple incongruencies at my local church that got me not wanting to come to church anymore.
But it was in the summer of that year after an evangelistic seminar at my high school that I decided to put my eyes on Jesus and to not give my attention to anyone or anything else, to put my trust in Jesus and not on anyone or anything else; and that, my friend, has been the best decision of my life.
Here at our Shenango Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church we would love to know you, develop a Christ-centered relationship with you as a family of brothers and sisters in Christ; and above all things, to journey together in our way back to God.
